6-8 firm eating variety (Ambrosia, Gala, Granny, etc.) BC Tree Fruits Apples
Juice of 1 lime
1-2 cloves garlic
1 tsp soy sauce
2 tsp fresh or 1/2 tsp powdered ginger
2 tbsp (can sub honey) brown sugar
optional, to taste (can sub sambal oelek) chili flakes
1/2 cup hot water
1 cup smooth peanut butter

Directions
STEP 1
Soak garlic in lime juice for 15 minutes to take the bite out.
STEP 2
Mix the soy sauce, ginger, brown sugar, and chili flakes into the juice.
STEP 3
Whisk hot water and peanut together until smooth. Add the remaining spice/juice blend and stir well.
STEP 4
Core and slice apples into bite-sized wedges. Ambrosia apples will not brown very quickly, but if you are using other varieties, you may toss them in a bit of any fruit juice to keep them looking fresh.
