Ingredients


  • 1 envelope Unflavoured gelatin
  • 2 Tbsp. Cold water
  • 1/4 cup Boiling water
  • 1/4 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup Cocoa powder
  • 2 cups Whipped cream (whipped, unsweetened)
  • 2 tsp. Vanilla
  • 1 cup Fresh BC Tree Fruits Cherries, pitted, sliced

Directions


  • STEP 1

    In a small bowl, sprinkled gelatin over cold water, let stand for 1 minute to soften and then add boiling water. Still to dissolve. Set aside to cool.

  • STEP 2

    In a large bowl, stir sugar and cocoa to mix well. Add whipped cream and vanilla and beat at high speed until stiff. Pour in cooled gelatin mixture and continue beating to blend well.

  • STEP 3

    Place bowl of mousse in fridge for about 10 minutes to partially set. Remove from fridge and fold in the cherries. Spoon into 4 individual glass servings bowls or cups. Return to fridge to fully set, at least 20 minutes.

  • STEP 4

    Serve garnished with a little whipped cream and a cherry if desired.
